Jad Fair est avant tout un membre de Half Japanese mais, au-delà de ce groupe mythique, il demeure une pointure culte de la scène underground californienne, et je ne saurais quantifier ses participations, de Yo La Tengo (cher à notre amie Audrey) à Moe Tucker (presque une amie intime de notre Jimmy !), sans oublier les quelques R. Stevie Moore, John Zorn ou Fred Frith (dans le désordre)... Ici, je vous propose deux albums en collaboration, d'une part avec Mark Kramer, puis une autre (peut-être plus complexe) en compagnie de Jason Willet. Chacune des pochettes (post figuration libre) est un véritable régal, même si j'en connais qui pourront rester dubitatifs !
